Who I Am
I am a birth doula and mother of two wonderful little humans. I have had an interest in pregnancy and birth since a young age and knew this was the path I wanted to follow after the birth of my son in 2018. I trained and began my journey as a birth doula in the UK in 2019 and retrained with DONA in 2020 just prior to our return to Canada. I have supported parents in Canada and the UK both at home and in hospital settings.
Following university I made a move to Vancouver for a few years, then on to the UK with my partner for what was to be a couple year secondment. We returned to Toronto to be closer to family after 7 years, two children, and a million wonderful memories.
There is so much information out there about pregnancy and birth – some helpful and some not-so-much. Every birthing person will have a vision of how they would like to birth their child - each birthing person is unique, as is each birth. I am passionate about helping each parent navigate through the plethora of information available to find what is evidence-based and relevant to their own experience. My goal is to ensure each parent feels excited, supported, and confident in their choices on their journey into parenthood.
I can’t wait to meet you!
“Let choice whisper in your ear and love murmur in your heart. Be ready. Here comes life.”
